CS03-I01 Gwen

GWEN, an intimate restaurant in mid Wales, boasts just 8 seats and offers a communal, immersive dining experience with a fully visible compact open kitchen, enhancing its unique atmosphere. Situated in Machynlleth, Wales, GWEN is the sister restaurant to Ynyshir, a Michelin-starred establishment owned by Gareth Ward. Since opening in May 2023, GWEN, with the support of Warrington + Rose, has curated the ideal setting for a 10-course tasting menu, expertly prepared over fire in a relaxed and inviting ambiance. Warrington + Rose's contribution includes supplying and installing three exquisite concrete basins (VASO, KARL, AMELIA) and crafting a customised concrete worktop for the kitchen, accompanied by an Ox Grill BBQ unit. The microcement-finished walls in or 'Welsh Slate' pallet complete the cozy environment, creating a delightful space for savouring fine drinks and foods.
